David Hunt is an authentic WASP (White Anglo-Saxon Protestant) and personifies everything that the Left hates. Besides being a happily married father of three daughters and a heterosexual, white Christian male, Dave is a long-time conservative activist, blogger, author, and columnist.
As a political activist, ideologue, propagandist and unapologetic rabble-rouser, Dave is always a tireless defender of the middle class, common sense, and the American way of life. Nicknamed “The Sage” in college by a friend, he blogged using that moniker for many years.
He is a traditionalist follower of the Anglo-Irish statesman, Edmund Burke (the father of the modern conservative movement) and American political theorist Russell Kirk. As such, he characterizes himself as a Burke/Kirk conservative. As the son, grandson, great-grandson, step great-grandson, and grand-nephew of Ministers of the Gospel, Dave brings a unique blended background of theology and ideology to the great debates of the day.
His articles have been featured on multiple radio programs including the G. Gordon Liddy Show and the Freedom Show (LA), in a French doctoral thesis, and in the 2012 high school textbook “Guns and Crime” by Christine Watkins. Various columns have appeared in over one hundred different blogs and websites and he was a regular contributor to numerous political commentary websites, news sites, and webzines for over a decade.
Dave was a founding member of, and penned thousands of blog posts for, the Constitution Club blog and served as the long-time editor of The Conservative Citizen political journal. He is also the author of the self-published children’s book “Read Me A Story” and a satirical account of the early days of Covid-19 titled “The Corona Diaries: Tales of The Great Commie Covid Raging Rona Bat Bug Panic Plague of 2020.”
Political activism has been a life long passion. Dave was the concept originator and co-founder of the Northern Colorado 2nd Amendment activist group Rally For Our Rights and was the co-founder and former chairman of MAGA Trump Colorado for several years. He founded Colorado Conservative Patriot Alliance in the spring of 2021 and currently serves as its chairman. Over the last five years, Dave has been a main organizer and/or promoter for twenty-four different street rallies, protests, counter-protests, Patriot dinner and drink events, and large scale candidate meet and greet forums.
His political career includes serving as a precinct committeeman, delegate to numerous Republican Party county and state assemblies, Life chain coordinator, a ‘From the Right’ columnist for the Rocky Mountain Collegian, two term Colorado State University College Republican Chairman, Colorado College Republican Vice President, twice-elected member of the Larimer County Republican Party Executive Board, campaign manager for a Kevin Lundberg State Senate run, and treasurer for a Tom Bender for county commissioner campaign.
A two-time graduate of The Morton Blackwell Leadership Institute and a graduate of the Foundation for Applied Conservative Leadership political leadership school, Dave has been trained in the fine art of campaigning, politicking, and issue messaging.
Dave is a proud Paul Revere of the modern age warning the citizenry of the triple evils of progressivism, socialism, and statism that threaten the Republic and Western Civilization.
He believes that Faith, Family, and Freedom is the formula for success and the key to a good life and a healthy nation.
But what is liberty without wisdom and without virtue? It is the greatest of all possible evils; for it is folly, vice, and madness, without tuition or restraint. Those who know what virtuous liberty is, cannot bear to see it disgraced by incapable heads, on account of their having high-sounding words in their mouths.

Conservatism is the antidote to tyranny. It’s the only one. It’s based on thousands of years of human experience. There is nothing narrow about the conservative philosophy. It’s a liberating philosophy. It is a magnificent philosophy. It is a philosophy for the ages, for all times.
